1. Navigate to Campaigns in the left sidebar menu and click on Creatives in the top rail, selecting Upload Creative.
2. Under the Creative Type dropdown, Select Hosted Native.
a. Main Image: Upload your Main Image asset by clicking Upload Files. Yieldmo recommends submitting 1 image that will run across Desktop and Mobile.
Specs:
Image Type: JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG
Image Height: 310 pixels
Image Width: 310, 413.33, or 592.1
Main Video: Consult with your account manager if you have Video assets, as the Hosted Video or Third Party Video (VAST tag) setup is recommended for DFO for Video. You will likely ignore the Main Video field.
b. Logo: Upload your Logo if you have one. Click Next. When done.
3. Details:
a. Enter the name of your Creative. The maximum length is 256 characters. The Creative name is used for TTD reporting purposes only and will not impact ad-serving.
b. Enter the website URL of where you want to redirect users after they interact with the ad. Here’s what you need to know about landing page URLs:
i. The URL must begin with HTTP or HTTPS.
ii. Enter only the root URL. A long URL might result in the creative being rejected.
iii. The landing page URL is used for declarations, not for click-through information.
c. Enter the Title for the ad unit, used as the headline in the creative. Yieldmo’s Native Display specs have a character limit of 50. TTD requires the Short Title (25 characters max) to be filled in.
i. If your desired Title is under 25 characters, use the Short Title Field.
ii. If your desired Title is 26-50, fill in both the Long Title field up to 50 characters and add in a Short Title at or under 25 characters.
d. Enter a description for the ad unit. TTD requires the Short Description field to be filled in (90 characters max).
i. Optional: If a longer description is desired, add a Long Description. TTD’s character limit for Long Description is 140 while Yieldmo Native specs support up to 160 characters.
e. Enter the brand name that will appear in any “Sponsored by” text – Yieldmo specs is 25 characters max.
f. Enter a CTA of your choice. The character limit in Yieldmo specs is 15 characters and the default is “Learn More”
4. Tracking & Declarations:
a. In the Clickthrough URL field, enter the URL to which you want to direct the user after they interact with the creative. The URL must begin with HTTP or HTTPS.
b. (Optional) In the JavaScript Tracking Tag fields, enter up to three third-party tracking tags. For example, a third-party impressions tracker.
c. (Optional) In the 1×1 Pixel Impression Tracking URL fields, enter up to three 1×1 pixels that are associated with your creative.
d. Click Next.
5. Leave flight dates fields blank. The creative becomes available immediately and remains available indefinitely, and flight dates settings will be controlled on the Campaign or Ad Group.
6. Click Create and then click Go to Creative to review or update its details. On the Creative action bar, click Approve Creative to submit the creative for supply vendor review.
7. Activation: Now that you have a standard Native Display creative built, navigate to your Native Display Ad Group.
a. Select and assign the creative in the Creative Targeting Rail.
